1. Global Warming. It is all around us and it affects us tremendously. If this continues, humanity will cease to exist. Which means no more problems.
2. Terrorism. This is the other global factor that can destroy humanity. If this continues, what is left behind is tragedy, devastation and more problems. No one wins.
3. Human/Labor Trafficking This is a great way to ruin lives. Multiple lives. Again, no one wins. Its illegal everywhere.
4. Cancer. Rumor has it, the cure is already discovered. Why isn't it being implemented into cancer research and treatment centers? This is just creating more problems.
5. Gender inequality. Women need more credit. They need to live, not just exists. Equality is the foundation for humanity. It can solve problems.
Solutions:
1. A practical solution to cancer is if a cure exists, it should be revealed. If no cure still exists, more effective treatment and ways of prevention should be invented.
2. The practical solution to global warming is to reduce the amount of fossil fuels and greenhouse gases being emitted.
4. A practical solution to gender inequality is to go against this. Women need to speak up and stand out.
5. A practical solution to terrorism is to find another way of solving our disagreements.
Hi Cristal! I really like the layout and design of your blog! I also like the picture you included! It is a good representation of the problem vs solution post. I had a few similar points to yours. I had terrorism and cancer both in my list of problems. Feel free to check out my blog post. Here’s the link http://thereseverything.blogspot.com/2016/01/theres-identifying-local-opportunities.html
ReplyDeleteSomething we both shared in our lists were terrorism and gender inequality! I can definitely agree that global warming should be on the fore front of people's agendas. I know there's a lot of speculation on whether if global warming can be stopped, if it's just natural occurrence but we should still take action as inhabitants of this world to preserve it.

Cristal, I really like how you identified cancer as one of the world's biggest problems. With increasing cancer cases every year it is critical that we try to find a cure. Unfortunately, it is more profitable for companies to treat cancer than to try to find a cure or prevent it. With profit being the primary focus of so many businesses it is hard to convince many people to invest in finding a cure. When companies begin to think more about society and less about profits I believe we will be much more efficient in finding and revealing a cure to cancer. Great work!
